To this end,the General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China has issued the"General Rules for the Production License of Food Packaging,Containers,Tools and Other Products"and the"Detailed Rules for the Examination of Production License of Food Plastic Packaging,Containers,Tools and Other Products",officially launching the market access system for food packaging,containers,tools and other products.This is the first step for China to implement administrative supervision over the production process of food related products.Currently,the access work of packaging"QS"is being promoted and popularized nationwide.

After the implementation of the market access system for plastic packaging,containers,tools and other products used in food,enterprises can only engage in the production of food related products after passing the quality assurance capability and production condition review organized by the quality inspection department.At present,enterprises that can obtain production licenses through strict market access are outstanding enterprises with significant influence in the industry.

The General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection,and Quarantine has also launched the non certification investigation and handling of packaging"QS"in stages.After entering the stage of unlicensed investigation and punishment,enterprises that have already obtained certificates can produce normally;Enterprises that have submitted an application for review but have not yet obtained a production license during the review process must indicate"trial products"on their products and send batches of products to designated inspection institutions for inspection before they can leave the factory for sale;Enterprises that have not yet submitted an application for review shall not produce,and food production enterprises shall not use their products.

The labeling regulations will be implemented in September

The identification of products is also a detail and hotspot that many consumers and businesses pay attention to.Last year,the General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China issued the"Regulations on Food Labeling Management",which will be implemented from September 1 of this year.The"Regulations on Food Labeling Management"is a reaffirmation and supplement to the food labeling supervision and management regulations based on the current regulations and standards related to food labeling and labeling,combined with the actual situation in China.This regulation mainly regulates food labeling from both the content and form of labeling,and is applicable to food produced(including repackaged)and sold within China.At the same time,the regulations have also added labeling requirements for food origin,packagers,warning instructions,minimum sales units,etc.,clearly stipulating the prohibited labeling content of food labeling and the prohibitive obligations of food producers and operators,and strengthening the quality and safety responsibilities of food producers and operators.
