On August 11, 2011, the website of the Ministry of Commerce released the "Opinions on Promoting the Sustainable and Healthy Development of Mechanical and Electrical Product Exports during the 12th Five Year Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Opinions"). According to the Opinion, 25 industries, including printing machinery, are listed as key export industries. It is worth noting that this is the first time that the printing machinery industry has been separately listed as one of the key industries for exporting mechanical and electrical products in China. The Opinion points out that the country will strengthen export guidance for key industries, and in combination with the national "12th Five Year Plan" and the key industry adjustment and revitalization plan, release export release plans for 25 industries, and formulate policy measures for classified guidance. Industry insiders analyze that the international competitiveness of the printing machinery industry and the improvement of the technical level of domestic printing equipment will also benefit downstream printing industries.
